With our dedicated interstate art transport service, King & Wilson Essential Art Services can offer competitively priced interstate solutions for moving precious art and high value objects. Interstate journeys are coordinated and performed by our specialist fine art transport and logistics team.
Our secure vehicles are custom built for fine art transport and feature racking and carton hold areas specifically designed to prevent movement and vibration. Insulated and equipped with GPS tracking and hydraulic tail-lifts, our fleet is only operated by trained members of the King & Wilson Essential Art Services team.
Melbourne - Sydney art shuttle service
We run a dedicated weekly fine art shuttle service between Melbourne and Sydney utilising our air ride climate controlled (temperature and humidity to museum specifications) art truck.
This service departs Melbourne each Tuesday, which means Sydney deliveries can be made Wednesday, Thursday and Fridays. The return service departs Sydney each Wednesday via Canberra with deliveries in Melbourne on Friday, Monday or Tuesday.
We also offer regular interstate art transport services to destinations such as Perth, Brisbane, Adelaide, Hobart, Cairns, Townsville, Darwin and Alice Springs.

Please see the table below for indicative depot-to-depot charges. These have been caculated based on a single 2 dimensional art work not exceeding 180cm x 180cm.

It’s important to ensure the fine-art objects are appropriately packed, and that the correct amount of support is given to the object. We use a range of archival packing materials and techniques, so that art objects of any size, weight and construction will not damage. With an extensive range of archival materials at our disposal, we can design a packing solution based on your individual requirements and budget.

Yes, we can pick-up and deliver artwork on weekends however there is a surcharge for services outside normal business hours.
Yes, we have access to cranes, forklifts, slings and hydraulic tail lift equipment to safely transport your large, sensitive, awkward or heavy objects.
By choosing the right packing method, we can insulate artwork from changes in temperature during transit. We have a range of insulating materials for packing and crating and our own fleet of climate controlled vehicles.
